My story is pretty simple. My business was slow. I bought houses fixed them up and re-sold them. With the economy being what it is, I was looking for another business that would give me the unlimited income potential and freedom to pursue the quality of life that I have come to enjoy.
Therefore, I took to the internet with some ideas in mind. I was thinking about some business franchises that I knew would be successful in my home town. That’s when I came across Yo Naturals. I was intrigued because natural and organic foods are becoming very popular all over the country. Carrying snacks that are natural/organic in vending machines sounded like a great idea and something that was a real wave of the future. I hadn’t seen any vending machines like that in my area. So, needless to say, I emailed Yo Naturals for more information.
Daryl Ragsdale contacted me immediately and we talked about Yo Naturals and what this vending business was all about. I have owned several businesses in the past, but never a vending business. The information Daryl gave me sounded like a really great deal and I was pretty excited about the prospect of what this business could bring me. However, we are all taught that if something sounds too good to be true it generally is. I was very skeptical to say the least.
I started checking out Yo Naturals. My degree is Bio-Chemistry so research is a natural thing for me. The company was solid and I really couldn’t find anything that contradicted anything Daryl had told me. To make a long story short…I decided to go for it.
I have started with five machines, because I wanted to see how this worked before I committed to a bunch of machines. I didn’t want to get stuck with a big investment and find out it was a losing proposition. An old buddy of mine’s father owned the leading appliance store in the town I live in. He always told me that whatever you do, always have a vending business. He did. That being said, I was still weary to say the least.
I told Daryl that I was taking the plunge. The machines arrived right on schedule and I was ready to go! Four of the five machines were going into schools, this was June 08 that they arrived, but one was put in a health club. I was really excited to get going. I placed my order for the health club machine and was pleased with how easy it was and how quickly it arrived. Maria Truong at Yo Naturals helped me figure out what the best products were to put in my machine. She could tell me what the best sellers are and how to price them. It was great!
I was ready to go. After a month or so I was really disappointed. Sales were very low. I was looking forward to the school year starting and hopefully doing much better sales. Daryl called me to see how I was doing. I told him about my sales issues and he immediately found me another location and had the machine moved. I was in shock! I thought I was on my own with this business, WHICH WAS NOT TRUE!!!
The new location was much better and the school year was gearing up. I got the machines all stocked and was off to a great start. To make another long story short…I had some problems with the machines. There were some glitches in the mechanisms. I called Mike Stubbs who handles service on the machines, and he had my machines up and running in a couple of days. I didn’t lose anything. It was great!
The bottom line is this, everything that Daryl promised me, was backed up by the whole company. In a matter of a couple of months I tested everything that I was told and Yo Naturals backed it all up and then some!!! The most important part of starting and doing this business for me was could I count on what Daryl told me Yo Naturals would do. They walk the talk! Yo Naturals is an honest company with employees that have integrity and the desire to help all of us succeed! I am now working on expanding my business and purchasing more machines. I love this business!!! It’s truly a business of the future. It is recession-proof. When the economy took the big dive in September of 2008, my sales have continued to increase. Yo Naturals has quality products and know what they are doing. I don’t want to be doing anything else. This is great!!! Everyone should be doing this business!
